Join us for a Pumpkin Succulent Centerpiece Workshop! No cutting pumpkins here; we'll be gluing on succulents and Spanish moss from the top. With a little misting, these succulents can root and later be moved to your favorite succulent container once the pumpkin is dry. We'll work with small pumpkins, each adorned with 6 succulents. Get creative

We're back at it again! Brought to you by MoJo Cycling and Nostalgia Wine & Spirits, the second annual fall bike ride/pub peddle is returning. Just like last year, we'll be biking to some of the coolest places in/around Newton. This year's edition looks to be around 13 miles and five locations - with the after party to be held at Nostalgia. With occasional misting, these succulents can root and then be transferred to your favorite succulent container once the pumpkin has dried, making them perfect for your Christmas decor. We'll be working with mini pumpkins, each adorned with 3 lovely succulents. Don't miss out!

The girls are back at Dot's cabin, ready for an epic bachelorette party complete with party favors and box wine. However, no one is ready for a smackdown, an unsolved mystery, and an ex who just can't stay away. Thank goodness for the wine. It's going to take a glass or two to get through this girls' weekend. Hey, don't judge.

Display your artistic talents and celebrate the love of books at our Bookish Birdhouses Art Show! Pick up a decorative birdhouse at the library beginning August 1st (while supplies last!) with a $1.00 deposit, and decorate it in honor of your favorite book or author. Return your completed birdhouse no later than September 5th to have your deposit returned and be included in our Bookish Birdhouses Art Show. The decorated birdhouses will be on display inside the library September 8th - 30th. Submissions should be family-friendly. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate! One birdhouse per person, please. Supplies are limited and we are not able to provide birdhouses to classrooms or businesses. Dates to Remember: August 1: Birdhouses available for pick up (while supplies last!) September 5: Last day to return completed birdhouses September 8 - 30: Bookish Birdhouses Art Show on display at the Library!
