Return the books when you're done with them - keep the craft! The May theme is "Judge This Book by Its Cover!" and includes a selection of novels with beautiful cover art. Enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or bring your own beverage, while working on your current stitching project. Stitchers of all experience levels are welcome! This is an open forum for crafters to share their projects, ask other stitchers for assistance or troubleshooting, and enjoy crafting company.
Join trained Family History Specialists for a free family history course at the Newton Public Library! This course will provide an introduction to the basics of creating a personal family history. Topics will include gathering family documents, using online databases, and research tips. This introductory course will consist of four unique classes (May 11, 17, 24, & 31) and participants should plan on attending all four classes. One-on-one tutoring with a consultant will also be available during the course. Attendees should bring a charged laptop, if they have one. This program is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The co-ed league will consist of 6 games plus a league tournament. The league will begin on May 4. The registration deadline is April 22.

Bring a friend or make a friend while getting some refreshments, then we encourage you to get outside, walk, and enjoy the scenery of both Maytag Park and Agnes Patterson.
