Ladies walk away from the session with a goody bag, containing information on popular topics, samples and coupons to drive them back into the businesses. Masks and social distancing encouraged.

  3. Project AWAKE's Virtual Trivia Night Fundraiser

    Project AWAKE is a non-profit organization that manages Newton Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. The Arboretum is funded mainly by the generous donation of our community. So enjoy a fun night with your family and friends and support a great cause! Each team will be placed in a virtual room and will be able to discuss questions and answers among each other. Google Forms that contain the questions will be sent to team captains. A captain should be someone who is familiar with Zoom and knows how to share their screen with the team. ?A Zoom link for the event will be sent before the event. Prizes include bragging rights, Arboretum t-shirt and a refund of your registration fee.

    Wondering what to read next? Check out our new monthly mystery bags for adults! Mystery bags have a different theme every month and contain a surprise selection of 4-5 books and movies, an adult craft, and other treats. Return the books and movies when you're done with them - keep the other goodies! April's theme is "Natural Wonders". The April bag will include a selection of non-fiction and fiction books about nature, animals, and the great outdoors. The craft is a paper butterfly display jar. Registration opens March 22nd. Call the library at 641-792-4108 to register.
