Win an amazing local experience for you and your significant other this Valentine's Day! Submit a 15 - 30 second video shot at your favorite local spot to shop or eat and tell us why you "love" it! Share the video on Facebook and tag the Newton Chamber of Commerce and Newton Main Street on the post. All videos must be posted by February 11, winner will be announced on February 12. One winner will be chosen based on creativity and original content and will win a prize package that includes a movie experience from Capitol II Theatre, a silver amethyst ring from The Jeweler's Bench, wine from Muse Wine Bar, a meal from Lemon Tree Tea House and much more!

The Proud to Know Newton radio show, hosted by Craig Armstrong and produced by KCOB, is aired every Thursday at 6 p.m. on KCOB 95.9 FM & AM 1280. The 30 minute show features an interview with a special guest about their organization, work or event. Guests range from City employees, non-profits, event organizers and business owners. Details for each show are posted online each week and the show is available to stream on KCOB's website.
