Event for parents of preschoolers sponsored by the Jasper County Health Department and the Newton Public Library. A chance for parents to connect and learn about resources in our community while your children enjoy storytime. Children attending will receive a book "Guess How Much I Love You" by Sam McBratney. This event will also count as a punch on the Jasper County Parent Punch card program to earn free educational toys for your children! The storytime is for ages 3 to 5, younger children are welcome to stay with their parent in the Parent Cafe. Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 and their caregiver, in the Carousel Horse Room. Siblings welcome! Storytime includes stories, music, and a simple craft. No registration required.

Artist and teacher, Katie Craney leads a step-by-step acrylic painting class for adults. Attendees are encouraged to bring an apron, all other materials provided. This program requires a free ticket to attend. You may pick up your ticket at the library circulation desk on January 24th, beginning at 5:30 pm. Participants must be present to claim a ticket. Ages 18+
