  3. A Few Good Men presented by Newton Community Theatre

    May 19, 2018, 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM @ Newton Community Theatre

This Broadway hit about the trial of two Marines for complicity in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay sizzles on stage. The Navy lawyer, a callow young man more interested in softball games than the case, expects a plea bargain and a cover-up of what really happened. Prodded by a female member of his defense team, the lawyer eventually makes a valiant effort to defend his clients and, in so doing, puts the military mentality and the Marine code of honor on trial. Tickets will go on sale May 7, and are $12.00 for adults and $10.00 for youth. For reservations, call our Box Office at 641-792-1230. The box office is staffed weekdays, starting May 7, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and 6:30-8:00 pm, and one hour before each performance. Director: John Dougan Ass't Director: Shawn Pavlik
