  5. Colfax Historical Society & Museum Dinner Theater

    April 14, 2018, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Colfax Historical Society and Museum

Written and presented by members of the Colfax Historical Society, Curses, Foiled Again!, or Colfax Mineral Water: the Unofficial Story is a play about a small town on the verge of greatness. Go back in time to the late 1800s, when Jasper County was just fully settled and ready for a new century. Watch the coal dust fly when locals discover mineral water and its seemingly magical powers of healing. Laugh along with a lovable cast of characters including a miserly old grandfather, his starry-eyed grandaughter, a slick-haired swindler, and many others. What will be the fate of this sleepy Jasper County town? How will the townspeople react to the metallic water bubbling from the ground?
