Join the Friends of Newton Parks, City of Newton Parks Department and Clemon-Maki Insurance this holiday season at Maytag Park. The park will once again be lit up for the holiday season.

Tour the store with a registered dietitian - the food and nutrition expert! Learn which foods will lower your bad cholesterol, raise your good cholesterol and help you enjoy improved heart health. Baqara is pleased to provide a roller skating rink to the Newton community for fun entertainment for families! Updates to be made throughout the winter. Birthday parties, special events and themed skate nights to come! The skating rink will run October 12th 2018 to mid April 2019. Celebrate the season with this family-friendly dancing event. Everyone welcome. Come solo or with partner/friends. Enjoy learn-as-you-go squares, circles, reels, and contras. All dances called. Acoustic musicians welcome to join the band off-mic. Admission $5-10 donation*, babies and toddlers free, family maximum $20-30. Please pay what you can to show appreciation to our musicians and caller.
