We are a meet-up that introduces creatives and entrepreneurs to one another so that they can share ways to grow their ideas. We are a space for outside-the-box thinkers to find and support each other’s ideas. We are here to help people make connections that stimulate organic economic growth.

In-person storytime for children ages 18 to 36 months with a caregiver. Storytime will last for 20 minutes with a simple craft following. Siblings are welcome to attend. Questions? Please contact Phyllis Peter at 641-792-4108.
Join trained Family History Specialists for a free family history course at the Newton Public Library! This course will provide an introduction to the basics of creating a personal family history. Topics will include gathering family documents, using online databases, and research tips. This introductory course will consist of four unique classes (May 11, 17, 24, & 31) and participants should plan on attending all four classes. One-on-one tutoring with a consultant will also be available during the course. Attendees should bring a charged laptop, if they have one. This program is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Join Newton Development Corporation, JEDCO and IowaWorks for a virtual career fair from 3 - 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25.
The co-ed league will consist of 6 games plus a league tournament. The league will begin on May 4. The registration deadline is April 22.

The City of Newton Community Services Department - Parks & Recreation is partnering with Kinetic Edge Physical Therapy in hosting walks for seniors 55 years and older. Bring a friend or make a friend while getting some refreshments, then we encourage you to get outside, walk, and enjoy the scenery of both Maytag Park and Agnes Patterson.
The co-ed league has been split into an early summer league and a late summer league. Each consists of eight games plus a league tournament.
