  4. Caring for Conservation Auction

    For the first time ever Jasper County Conservation is hosting a fundraising event to help raise funds for the Jasper County Environmental Education Center! Conservation Staff assist more than 20,000 people annually, providing outdoor learning experiences to all ages. The center will be a hub for those learning experiences as well as a significant tourist attraction and welcome center for Jasper County. This FREE event will have silent and live auction items, games, music, appetizers and a cash bar.

Baby storytime provides a gentle and fun introduction to literacy through songs, stories, and finger plays. For newborns to 18 months with a parent or caregiver (siblings are welcome). Storytime begins at 10:30 am, then stay for play and social time after the program!

  12. Cops & Neighborhoods United Zone 4 Informational Meeting

    February 28, 2019, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Christian Life Church

    The Newton Police Department has developed the Cops and Neighborhoods United program to develop relationships between our police officers and the citizens that we serve. Using a grid system already used by the police department to track crime rates and traffic issues, officers have been assigned to each area of Newton, allowing our citizens to have one or two officers that they can contact, get to know and work to resolve issues in their neighborhoods.
