  1. Jasper County Conservation OWLS Regenerative Farming

    Joseph Keingelhutz from SILT (Sustainable Iowa Land Trust) will be talking about regenerative food farming and the future of Iowa agriculture. Joseph will illustrate Iowa’s potential for nature-friendly food production that mitigates climate change, reduces soil erosion and ultimately helps clean out water and air. This program is part of the monthly Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) group that meets the second Wednesday of every month in the Jasper County Armory/Annex Building in Newton. Come for coffee and a short presentation. New participants are always welcome!
