Snow Ordinance Violation Enforcement

Snow removal operations went in effect three times throughout the month of January and have resulted in over 125 snow ordinance parking tickets.

The Police Department and City staff utilize the emergency alert system, snow phone line, website, Facebook and Nextdoor to notify residents when the ordinance has gone into effect. Residents are encouraged to sign up for emergency alerts on the City website or check the various information resources to determine whether on-street parking is allowed.  

Keeping cars off the street during a snow emergency ensures safe and efficient snow removal operations.
