[ARCHIVED] 2023 Maytag Bowl Summer Concert Series Lineup Announced

Maytag Bowl Summer Concert Series

The summer schedule of music in Newton this summer continues to grow as the Maytag Bowl Summer Concert Series returns on Thursday nights beginning June 1. The series, which features nine concerts in 2023, is free to the public. Concerts begin at 7 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets, as well as their own food and beverage as they enjoy the music. The City is also looking to have food trucks on site during each of the concerts.

“The Maytag Bowl Summer Concert Series is one of those can’t miss summer events and something you have to add to your summer calendar,” said Danielle Rogers, Community Marketing Manager for the City of Newton. “We’re excited to have a lineup that features local favorites Slipstream and Outlaw Country Express as well as new to the Bowl acts including Dueling Fiddles, The Jury and Rag Doll Incident. And as always, the summer lineup also features the Newton City Band, which has a long tradition of playing at Maytag Bowl.”

Maytag Bowl is located at Maytag Park, 301 S 11th Ave W. We've got more information on the Maytag Bowl Summer Concert Series on our website or you can call City of Newton’s Community Services Department at 641-792-6622.
