The Library held its annual Winter Clothing Drive from October 14 to October 19. Donations of cold-weather clothing for children ages 6-18 were collected all week, then given to schools in Newton and distributed to students in need. Collected items included sweaters, coats, boots, and mittens. This year we received 119 pieces of clothing! The breakdown included: 10 coats, 56 pairs of socks, two pairs of boots, 11 hats, two pairs of pants, 11 pairs of mittens, 25 sweaters, and two scarves!
