The library hosted another successful Choir Camp at the end of Summer Reading. The camp was taught by Courtney Tabor, a Newton native, and Rachel Peter, both music major graduates from Central College. The group chose “The Day the Crayons Quit” by Drew DeWalt to turn into a musical. The 20 kids dressed in their crayon’s colors on ending the night and performed in front of family and friends. During the week of rehearsal, food was provided by nearby businesses including Pizza Ranch, McDonald’s, and Dominos.
