Community Ice Rink

The City of Newton has one community ice rink that is open during winter months when weather permits. The rink is located within Maytag Park (near the west side of the park).

The ice rink is not open for the 2023 season yet.

We are waiting on temperatures to get colder for better ice conditions.

The public ice rink is free for public use and will be open when weather permits. Signs will be posted if the rink is closed. All skaters are advised that they are skating at their own risk. The rinks are not supervised, and all skaters are advised they are skating at their own risk. Bring your skates and take part in this winter activity!
