The Library’s goal is to create an environment that balances our need to provide quality essential services to our community, provide our employees with a safe working environment, and do our part to prevent the spread of Covid-19. In an effort to implement social distancing practices, in-person library hours have been temporarily reduced.
In the meantime, library staff are offering a mix of in-person browsing days, curbside pick-up service for library materials, public computer appointments, and appointments for notary service and new library card registrations.
If you would like to make an appointment for notary service, new library card registration, or to make a computer appointment, please call 641-792-4108.
Beginning January 4, 2021, we’ll be offering Browse-N-Go service on the following days:
Visitors are welcome to drop-in during Browse-N-Go hours to browse the shelves and check out materials. Computers will be available, no appointment required. Social distancing measures will be in place and all building visitors ages 3+ will be required to wear a mask. Visits must be limited to 1 hour or less.
Curbside Pick-Up & Computer Appointments
Curbside pick-up service and computer appointments will continue to be available for those who prefer contactless library service. The library building will be closed to walk-in traffic on these days.
