Randy Ervin

Randy ErvinRandy Ervin, a proud native of Newton and a graduate of Newton High School in 1979, was elected as an At-Large council member in 2019. Prior to his retirement in February 2019, Randy dedicated 30 years of his career to UPS. Throughout his tenure, he held various managerial positions and, in his most recent role, served as the Central Plains Labor Relations Manager.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Randy finds joy in his personal life. He is happily married to his wife Mary and cherishes their three children and two grandchildren. Randy's passion for sports and community involvement is evident through his commitment to coaching Little League baseball and offering his support as a substitute teacher in the Newton Community School District. He has also contributed his expertise as a coach for Newton High School's varsity football team.

Randy's strong ties to Newton, his wealth of experience, and his dedication to serving the community make him a valuable asset in his role as an At-Large council member. His commitment to fostering positive growth and making a difference in the lives of Newton residents is truly commendable.
