Vicki Wade

Vicki Wade is a life-long resident of Newton. She graduated from Newton High School, Class of 1987, and was in the first graduating class at the DMACC-Newton Polytechnic Campus. She has degrees from Drake University and a Master's Degree from Colorado State University. Vicki is a financial advisor with an Edward Jones branch office in the community and she owns Olive 'et Boutique in downtown Newton.

Vicki has been involved in many organization over the years. She served in an elected position on the ISU Extension Council, on the City of Newton Planning and Zoning Commission, as an ombudsperson for Jasper County Veterans, as Vice President of Dollars for Scholars-Newton Chapter as well as President & Co-Founder of Destination Downtown Newton Alliance (DDNA).  

Vicki and her husband, Shawn, who is also a business owner in the community, have two grown sons, Logan (Haleigh) and Tucker.  In her free time, Vicki is an avid reader and horse lover, volunteering in equine shows and organizations around the Midwest.
