Landfill Hours

The Newton Sanitary Landfill is open for business:

  • Monday - Friday 
    • 7:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
  • Saturday 
    • 8 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. April 1 through October 31
    • Please note: Saturdays between November 1 through March 31, the Newton Sanitary Landfill is open the first Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

The Newton Sanitary Landfill is located 3/4 mile south of I-80 on the east side of Highway 14.
