Westwood Clubhouse Project

Project Description

This proposed project includes the construction of a simple, downsized clubhouse building and adjacent detached open-air shelter. Also included are amenities such as an outdoor patio seating area, outdoor fire pit, and an area for recreational activities other than golf. Existing Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) items related to this may include: construction of additional parking, resurface existing parking, and construction of a new storage shed. The current clubhouse is outdated and does not provide adequate room for golf tournaments. Having an updated clubhouse and adjacent shelter will allow the course to host larger tournaments. The adjacent shelter, when not being used for golf events, can generate additional revenue and sales from the non-golfing community who can rent the shelter for private events and gatherings.
