Teddy Bear Picnic

The City of Newton’s Parks and Recreation and The Newton Public Library are partnering together for a Teddy Bear Picnic at Agnes Patterson Park! 

This event is open to kids 2 to 8 years old; but siblings are welcome!

Bring your stuffed teddy bear or animal for a walk around the StoryWalk™, crafts and a free ice cream treat from Sea Turtle Ice Cream!

Meet us at the beginning of the StoryWalk™ which is located by the softball fields’ concession stand. After the StoryWalk™ is over, we will meet at the open shelter by the soccer fields’ playground for crafts bags to be handed out to the children, another possible short story, and free ice cream for the children provided by the Sea Turtle Ice Cream! Parents, please bring a blanket to sit on due to limited of picnic tables.
