COVID-19 Vaccination Information

Jasper County Health Department Update:

Jasper County Health Department has announced that vaccines are available for everyone over the age of 18 beginning the week of 4/19.

On March 10, Governor Reynolds announced that if you need assistance in scheduling a vaccine, and are 65 years of age or older, to please call 211. The hotline has vaccine navigators to schedule appointments at nearby Hy-Vee pharmacies. 211 also has multilingual care navigators on staff and access to translation services if needed. Resource specialists are available 24 hours a day to answer basic questions.

Vaccine supply is very limited in Iowa and across the nation. While vaccine doses are scarce now, eventually, there will be enough for everyone. In the meantime, you should be aware of all the options available to get vaccinated.
